An ideal answer for low cost studio lighting. The constant illumination from the Photopearl lamps is ideal for use with modern digital cameras avoiding over exposure associated with much higher powered flash systems.
The strong glass filled nylon body is designed to stand up to many years of high temperature operation. A mains on/off switch is conveniently located on the rear ventilation panel.
A bright even spread of light is obtained from the 21cm aluminium reflector. This can be further softened by using a silver or translucent umbrella, secured by the integral brolly clamp.
After loosening the clamp on the stand mounting bracket, the lamp can be safely and easily adjusted using the handle at the rear of the head.
